Every Sept. 15 since 1963, Rigoberto Vega Alvarado climbs to the top of Cerro de la Carpintera to plant a giant Costa Rican flag. Here’s the story of how one man started an Independence Day tradition in Cartago. He started with this tradition beacuse some teachers asked him if he could decorate somethig to inspire anothers to decorate in this important month, so he was thinking ,he found an excellent a way to decorate.

Mrs.Vega with his family  decorate the mountain has a symbol of art. He inspires a his neigborhood. We need to rescute this kind of values

how  we can save this wonderful tradition ?

how we are going to catch the attention of younger's ?
